Hands down, the best experience I’ve ever had at a repair shop. My husband and I live in our ‘92 Ford Econoline and we made an emergency stop in SLO because we weren’t feeling safe. The expert at the front desk, Rich, asked us detailed questions and directed us to their “transmission guy” Randy. We drove him around in the van, explaining that there were some troublesome vibrations, when he didn’t notice, he drove the van himself. As soon as the vibrations started he began firing off a list of what it could be. Randy dropped us off at the waiting area and found the issue within the hour. Then Rich gave us a detailed explanation of what it was. While putting the van back together, they stopped and alerted us to our dangerously worn brake pads. (My husband accidentally drove with the e-brake on for a couple of hours without either of us noticing). Rich gave us a quote for the repairs, and we gave them the go ahead. They finished the van that day. Rich showed us every broken or worn piece, explained each issue in terms I could understand, kept us posted on costs, and they made us feel safe and comfortable. The van is driving like a dream and we are so so thankful to the team at Villa, but especially Rich and Randy, for taking such good care of our home.
