Smogged me in half an hour, and interrupted a lunch break to do it. On a walk-in with no appointment! Super friendly staff.

I was in SLO visiting from AZ to attend my daughter’s graduation from CalPoly when the blower in my AC stopped working, I was driving back the next day to 115 degree weather. I called 6 different shops including a dealership and explained my situation and all of them were busy and “might be able to fit me in next week”… Villa Automotive (which was extremely busy, too) got me in that morning and had it fixed by the afternoon. Great shop! Reasonably priced! Good people! After such great service, I immediately made an appointment for my daughter’s car to have some service done because I’d rather give my business to a great shop like this one versus dealerships or other shops that “could fit us in maybe next week”!

Villa has always come through for me! I've never had to take my car back to them. They always repair whatever is needed and at a reasonable price.

We thought we had a loose plate under the car causing loud cabin noise while traveling to Santa Cruz from San Diego for our daughters graduation from UC Santa Cruz. We stopped by on a Friday morning without an appointment and they put it up on the lift and fixed a loose plate. The cabin noise was still loud even at load speeds and they became very concerned when we said the noise was present at all speeds Rich took it out around the block and knew immediately what we were experiencing. The rear passenger bearing assembly was failing and close to a full failure. Not only did they fix it in a day they found us a rental car and shuttled us to the airport to pick it up. We are grateful for their diligence in identifying the noise and alerting us to the extreme danger the noise indicated. A problem our mechanic at home failed to identify when we had the car looked at prior to the trip. We just drove 5 hours home to San Diego and the Prius is back to it's smooth running quiet cabin self. We highly recommend Villa Auto Repair. They are fair, experienced and have above and beyond customer service.
