San Luis Obispo Auto Repair

I have had smog checks done multiple times and the service was excellent - fast, thorough and reasonably priced. The second time they forgot to put my gas cap back in which is pretty amateur so I gave 4 stars.

The Sunday crew provides great service, and makes it possible to get needed repairs done on the weekend. I can also have parts ordered and get them installed the following Sunday. Thanks! to John Villa and his staff.

We had just moved our daughter to San Luis Obispo to go to college and were unable to get direct referals for an auto mechanic. I did a search on line and liked the web site so decided to give them a try when her car was giving us repeat problems. We had taken it to our mechanics in Davis multiple times for the same issues. One trip to Villa Automotive was all it took!! They were professional and truly customer service oriented. An almost lost concept these days. They took her home and picked her up when the car was ready. Even filled the gas tank. Thank you Villa Automotive!! You make this family's life much easier!!! Wish you were in Davis too........

I have taken my car and my fiancees car into Villa for 4 or 5 different repairs each and have had great repairs most every time. I had a transmission rebuilt, new head put on, electric window motors replaced, alternator replaced, and SMOG checks. Content with their work, hard to beat their customer service. Only had one hiccup in working with them and issues have since been resolved.

In town for the holiday weekend to watch son play baseball for the Mustangs and needed a smog from a Test Only station. Villa not only got us in and out quickly they are also a proud sponsor of Cal Poly Baseball with their ad on the outfield wall.

My experience at Villa Automotive was tremendous! I had a number of mechanical items attended to and a significant amount of paintwork completed by Villa last week. The staff is super accomodating and friendly, and the work was impecable! I am so pleased with the paint finish... as John Villa said, the finish came out looking like a "show car", and it truly does! Villa shop hours allowed me to drop off and pick up after normal business hours at most shops, they provided transportation back to my house when I dropped it off, and they supported emerging work items (like the failed digital speedometer that required a specialist in LA to repair) all with no problems... And, perhaps most importantly, the pricing for everything I had done was much better than expected.

Knowing that I have a reliable and honest resource to maintain my daughter's car while she's away from us (attending school) is a great comfort!Thank you for your terrific service!
